Team Research Project

This is a PPT data-driven research presentation about Cooper-Young.  You will be assigned an area to research in a team. 


Google Docs
You must sign up for a google docs account.  You will create your PPT in google docs.  This program will allow you to add images and YouTube video.

Getting Embed Code for PPT
1.  Under "share" option, choose "share setting."

2.  choose the "public on the web" option.

3. Go back to the "share" option, choose "publish/embed"

4.  Choose to have slideshow start immediately.  Copy HTML code.

5.  Then on your Weebly page, paste into "custom HTML" box. Hit "publish."

Research Teams
Team 1 -  Brennan, Myiehsa
History and Community - safety, involvement, organizations, education, churches

Team 2 - Louis, Nielsen
Demographics - Racial makeup /Median Income/Education levels /boundaries/population/average household/professions (artists/professionals/blue collar)

Team 3 - Jessie, Daniel
Vitality – home sales/how hit by recession/business climate/foreclosures/businesses


Team PPT reports - Twitter activity and analytics.

These Team PPT reports will show how much, if any, Twitter activity you were able to create as a team. 
Your team are the same used in your research report. 

The report should include screenshots of all Twitter activity.  You will turn in several of these reports throughout the semester - and you should just keep adding to the original report to show compiled activity.  

Certain reports will also require analytics data.  Include this information when asked.  

You must include captions or short explanatory bullets in PPT presentation.  It should make sense to the viewer from just watching.  

These reports are hyperlinked, not embedded.  Please see screenshots for instructions.

Live Tweet story

You will choose an event to cover that is happening in or impacts the Cooper-Young community.  You will schedule your Live Tweet event here so that we can all watch your progress.  Your partner must also promote your Live Tweet through social media. 

By 10 p.m. the day after your event, you must submit your full web story.

Your full webstory must include at least (2)  of the following: captioned pictures from the event, quotes from different subjects, hyperlinks.  Make sure to also give your story a good headline.
